On Wednesday night during the high school small group I lead, we spent some time getting to know each other by drawing out random questions. I figured it was only fair that I take one. The question I pulled out what "why do you come to youth group?"
Let's do some quick math- I entered high school in 1997, became a small group leader in 2000, took one (school) year off from 2006-2007, started again in 2007 and still going. That's over 10 years of being in the high school ministry in some capacity. That's a real long time.
So, why do I still come after all these years? This is why:
